Dear Fellow Motorhomers,
March and for those on our winter Canary Islands tour the sunshine remains. Now well into the second half of their 70-night tour the participants continue enjoying great weather with almost endless blue skies and warm sunny temperatures.
On each of our tours as well as arranging all of the campsites a lot more is included, in every tour are many daily excursions with private transport and local tour guides, plus many group meals for lunches & dinners together in the company of like minded travellers. On the Canary Islands tour one such excursion is to the wonderful annual carnival parade that takes place in Tenerife’s capital of Santa Cruz. Here the streets are closed to accommodate dancers and bands of all ages, in one long procession of colour and music running for over 4 hours.
If you would like to enjoy all the sunshine and excursions of the Canary Islands, this very popular tour has just been confirmed as taking place again next winter from mid January to April 2020. Full details can be found by clicking on Canary Islands 2020 tour itinerary.
Thinking of getting away in your motorhome much sooner, then if you are quick we could still include you for our Springtime in Holland 2019 tour, this 9-night holiday starts on 9th April this year and packs a lot into the time away; including visits to Amsterdam, Delft and the wonderful bulb gardens of Keukenhof, which are full of spring colours at this time. Full details available by clicking on Springtime in Holland 2019 tour itinerary.
Also next month (26th – 28th April) we are exhibiting at the Peterborough motorhome show, and with our stand (number P12) being indoors no matter what the weather is in the UK at that time do come along and see us. It’s always great to meet with everyone at the shows and Peterborough is just about the largest of these events.
As it’s still cold in the UK, whilst away in your motorhome at this time of year insulated windscreen covers are a great way of reducing heat loss from inside your van whilst also assisting in keeping internal condensation to a minimum. But have you thought that these same covers can be equally effective when touring in hot countries, for keeping excessive heat out. On hot sunny days put in place your screen covers and you’ll find your motorhome retains a more comfortable internal temperature.
We hope to be soon travelling with you and until then if there is anything you wish to ask about any tours feel free to contact us, we are always happy to answer questions.
Kindest Regards,
Nurcan & Kevin, Sue & Ron, Chris & Alan, Liz & Dave, Cheryl & John
