Dear Fellow Motorhomers,
Next week see’s the half term school holidays and a time when many of us help out with looking after grandchildren. Often people travelling with us speak of the active roles they play in the lives of their grandchildren including taking them on holidays. With this in mind we have put together a real first – a tour specifically designed for motorhome travel with younger children.
Our Tour Directors for this unique France with Grandchildren/Children tour will be travelling in their motorhome along with their two young grandchildren and have personally selected all aspects of the tour, including a top quality child friendly campsite and excursions to capture the interest of both adults and children alike. A visit to St. Malo aquarium, a day at an educational zoo and time in majestic Le Abbaya Du Mont-Saint-Michel.
This tour takes place over the May half term period 28th May – 2nd June 2017, when we can look forward to light evenings and spring weather. Why not treat yourself and family to a wonderful week away, full tour details available on our website or via the link below.

Much further afield, our Discover Iceland tour takes place in July this year. Obtaining space on the once weekly ferry to Iceland is notoriously difficult with us making our group reservation over 18 months in advance. Whilst our initial allocation of ferry space has long been filled we have secured the option of one additional space so we can offer one further place on this wonderful adventure, this one space is available on a first reserved basis.
Looking to the end of the year we’ve just made available our Christmas tour; for this year it’s a real extravaganza taking place in Paris, Epernay in Champagne and a farewell dinner with overnight parking at Chateau Cocove, take a look at French Christmas Extravaganza 5th – 11th December 2017.
All our tours include group excursions with transport, a number of group meals, services of our Tour Directors travelling with the tour in their own motorhome, full printed tour information pack and all GPS co-ordinates for your Sat Nav and of course all campsite fees.
Additionally, complete flexibility for you to decide to meet us at the start of the main tour which will be in/near the country of destination or have everything arranged for you from the UK by including our ‘optional travel from UK package’. Within this package is included additional campsite nights from the UK to the start of the tour, your fully flexible return cross channel ferry ticket along with entry to the ferries club class lounge in both directions and the services of our Tour Directors travelling from the UK.
The choice is always yours to choose where is best for you to start your tour.
Full details of all tours can be viewed on our website and bookings can be made online. Also feel free to contact us at any stage if there is anything you would like to ask about a particular tour.
Over the weekend of 18th & 19th March we will be exhibiting at the Newark Spring Motorhome show, our stand is number 45 indoors, so whatever the weather do come and visit us knowing that we’ll be in the dry. This event is open to both weekend campers & day visitors; operated by a different organisation to most of the outdoor shows so expect to find a variation in traders and entertainment available.
With it still being cold in the UK if you are not currently using your motorhome for touring do try and take it out for a good run at least every other week. Engines, brakes and tyres need the heat and motion of being used to keep them in working order and the best way to achieve this is a good 30 minute drive. We look forward to escorting you and your motorhome to great places throughout 2017.
Kindest regards,
Nurcan & Kevin, Sue & Ron, Chris & Alan, Joan & Martin, Sue & Eddie
